বায়োগ্রাফি: Henry James was a British American Author and considered as one the pivotal figures of literary realism and literary modernism. His works include 20 novels, 112 tales, and 12 plays in addition to several volumes of travel writing and criticism. Today he is best remembered as the author of the novel The Portrait of a Lady (1881) and the novella The Turn of the Screw (1898). He was born to Mary Walsh and Henry James Sr. in a very solvent family and went to Harvard Law School in 1862 but decided to study literature instead of law.
