বায়োগ্রাফি: Alexandre Dumas was born as Davy de la Pailleterie also known as Alexandre Dumas is the writer of famous novels like The Three and Musketeers (1844) and The Count of Monte Cristo (1844-1845). He is one of the most translated French authors and most of his works are historical fiction published in series and include amazing adventures. His novels have been made in plays and movies many times since their publication. His father was an army general and his aristocratic status helped Dumas a lot in his career. He was employed by the Duke of Orléans Louis-Philippe, as a writer, and found early success. Dumas married actress Ida Ferrier (born Marguerite-Joséphine Ferrand) (1811–1859) on 1 February 1840,[20] He had numerous affairs with other women and was known to have fathered at least four children by them. At his death in December 1870, Dumas was buried at his birthplace of Villers-Cotterêts in the department of Aisne.
